Accessibility

Our hotel fulfills all requirements of the certification system "Reisen für Alle". In addition to our special wheelchair-accessible rooms, all hotel areas, including the wellness area, are spacious, comfortable, and barrier-free. To get to the swimming and sauna area, please use the elevator next to the wellness reception. The activation is done via your room key, which must be activated daily at the hotel reception.

A variety of adapters & charging cables is available at the reception.

Air conditioning

All our rooms are equipped with modern ventilation systems which include individually adjustable temperature features. With the upper rotary knob you can switch the ventilation system on/off and adjust the ventilation. With the lower knob you adjust the temperature. The middle equals the centrally controlled temperature in the whole hotel complex (approx. 20°C). If you set the controller on „-“, the temperature will be cooled down about 2 degrees. If the controller is set on „+“ the temperature will rise about 2 degrees. Please notice that heating and the air condition is turned off when the windows are opened.

Allergies & food incompatibility

Food intolerances are very common. Where possible, we try to accommodate all requests and special requirements. If you suffer from a food intolerance or allergy, please let us know before you arrive, preferably when you make your booking.

Baby equipment

We are happy to provide you with a baby cot and bed linen free of charge, subject to availability. On request, you can also receive a step stool and a high chair at our reception.

We provide XL bathrobes and slippers free of charge for the duration of your stay. It will be waiting for you in your room upon arrival.

Blinds

All rooms are equipped with electric awnings. You can find the switch behind the curtain in your room.

Bistro "Leineaue"

The "Bistro Leineaue“ is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and welcomes you with savory snacks, delicious cakes and pies daily from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.. In summer, you can enjoy a refreshing iced coffee and ice cream sundae on the sun terrace.

Bikes

You are welcome to bring your own bike and store it safely and protected from the weather in our bike storage room. Please note that the space is limited and reservations are not possible. Charging facilities for your e-bike are available.

Books | Newspapers

On the way to the wellness area (2nd floor) you will find a small reading corner. You are welcome to borrow books there any time. If you don´t finish an exciting read, you are welcome to take the book home for a small fee. We are alwals happy to receive new additions to our collection. At the reception you can also purchase daily newspapers and magazines.

Breakfast

Our extensive breakfast buffet is served daily from 6.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. in the "Theodor Storm" restaurant. If you are leaving before the regular breakfast hours, we will be happy to prepare a lunch package for you upon on request. Would you prefer to enjoy your breakfast in your room? Then please fill out the breakfast flyer provided in your room and return it to the reception by 10:00 p.m.

Business service

At our reception we offer you the possibility to take photocopies, faxes or scannings.

Bus connection | city bus

The next bus stop is right in front of the hotel. With your guest card you can use the city bus free of charge. On weekdays the bus runs hourly from 06.34 a.m. to 06.34 p.m. and on saturdays from 08.34 a.m. to 12.34 p.m. Our reception staff will be happy to provide you with a timetable.

City tax

The town of Heilbad Heiligenstadt charges a city tax of 2,- EUR per night and person aged 15 and over for tourist overnight stays. This tax is not included in our room & arrangement prices and will be charged additionally. For business stays we do not charge a city tax.

Check-In & Check-Out

Your hotel room will be available from 03.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. You can find more information on arrival under: location & directions.

On the day of departure your room will be available until 11.00 a.m. If you would like to enjoy our hotel even longer, you can request a late check-out (until 03.00 p.m. per room) subject to availability. You can pay your hotel bill at the reception the evening before or on the day of departure in cash, by EC card or by credit card.

Children´s prices

The children's prices apply for accommodation in their parents' room per child per night. For 2 or more children, we recommend booking a comfort room, deluxe room or Suite.

Continuous Current

At your desk in the hotel room you will find the power socket with continuous current. This socket is also working if you pull your room card out of the main switch next to the door. Please ask at our reception, if you need a second room card.

Dinner

The dinner is served daily from 05.30 p.m. - 09.30 p.m. in our restaurant "Theodor Storm". We are happy to take your evening table reservation at the reception desk. Even if you have only booked breakfast, we would be delighted to spoil you with our varied dinner buffet (39,- EUR person per day) and a seasonally changing á-la-carte selection.

Please notice: You can feel relaxed and dress casually at our hotel. There is no dress code for dinner. However, we would appreciate it if you wore closed shoes and appropriate casual evening wear.

You can reach the emergency service on weekends by phone: 116 117. On weekdays please ask at the reception for further advice.

The nearest hospital is located in Heilbad Heiligenstadt in Windische Gasse 112, phone number: +49 (0) 3606/760.

Pharmacies
In 2 km distance you can find the „Liethen Apotheke“ (Brüsseler Straße 10, Heilbad Heiligenstadt). Close to the hospital there is the „Amalien-Apotheke“ (Robert-Koch-Straße 36, Heilbad Heiligenstadt). On weekends please ask at the reception for on-call pharmacies.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in our hotel, but only in certain room categories and with advance notice. A fee of 25,- EUR per night (excluding food) is charged per pet. We kindly ask for your understanding that your dogs are not allowed in the dining areas or wellness area. We also reserve the right to charge for any final cleaning that may be required.

Electric charging stations

Several public electric charging stations are located in the car park directly in front of the hotel complex and are available for a fee.The price for a normal charging process starts at 0.45 ct/kWh. Billing is done via your personal charging card or the Ladenetz.de app.

Fire alarm

Our hotel is equipped with an early warning alarm system. At your room door as well as in the hallways you can find a plan of the escape routes. In case of a fire alarm the elevators cannot be used due to security.

Fitness

The "Vital & Fit" and "Vital & Stark" training areas are located in the adjacent Vitalpark. In addition to strength and endurance workouts, you also have the opportunity to participate in the weekly activity program or book a personal training session. Guests under the age of 16 may only use the areas when accompanied by a parent or guardian. You can find all further information about our sports offerings under: fitness

Flowers

For a special moment or just a small gift. Please deposite orders days before at the reception or after completing your reservation. On weekends it is not possible to order flowers.

Guest card

On your arrival you will receive a guest card from us. With the help of this card, you can use the city bus as well as the cultural program of Heilbad Heiligenstadt. The tourist tax is charged daily for each person from 15 years of age. We will charge it separately for your stay.

Hotel bar

Our hotel bar is located in the hotel lobby and invites you to enjoy delicious cakes and hearty snacks in the afternoon from 2 p.m. We also serve specialty coffees and teas as well as refreshing soft drinks. In the evening, from 5 p.m. (Sun-Thu) and 4 p.m. (Fri-Sat), you can enjoy an exquisite selection of spirits, cocktails, and much more.

Hotel bed

Our beds in the classic and comfort rooms as well as in the suites are equipped with an ergonomically adjustable slatted frame. The superior and deluxe rooms are equipped with comfortable box-spring beds.

Hot-water bottle

If you feel cold or suffer from stomach pains, please contact our reception and we will bring a hot-water bottle to your room.

You can get an ironing board and an iron on request at the reception.

Laundry service

If you have clothes that need to be washed or dry cleaned, we offer you our laundry and cleaning service in cooperation with our laundry partner. If you drop off your clothes before 13:00 p.m. you will receive them back by 12:00 p.m. the following day at the latest. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays. Prices and the corresponding laundry list are available at the reception.

Lost property

If you found external property or if you lost something, please contact our reception. All lost property is kept safe by the housekeeping team. The hotel does not take responsibility for untraceable subjects. Food will be disposed immediately because of hygienic reasons. Lost property will only be returned to the owner upon express request.

Luggage service

We are happy to offer you a luggage service, which you can request at our reception. Our arriving and departing guests have the possibility to leave their luggage at the reception. 

Lunch Package

If you are leaving before regular breakfast hours or planning an excursion, we will be happy to prepare a packed lunch for 12,- EUR per person. Please register for this service by 10.00 p.m. the evening before at the reception desk or by calling extension -70.

Minibar

All our rooms have a minibar with a cooling option. The deluxe rooms and our suites are equipped with a small selection of sweets and drinks, you can use them free of charge.

Newspaper & magazines

At our reception you will find a small selection of daily newspapers and magazines for sale.

Non-smoking rooms

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. When breached, we will charge 200,- EUR for the final cleaning. Our restaurant and the public areas are smoke-free as well.

P

Parking

If you arrive by car, you will find ample parking directly in front of our hotel for a fee (7,- EUR per night). We ask for your understanding that it is in the interest of all guests if you park only within the markings, so that the adjacent parking space can be approached without problems. The usage of the car park is at your own risk, we do not accept any liability for possible damages.

Payment

You can pay your invoice in cash, with EC card or credit card (American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro or Visa).

Pillows

For optimal sleeping comfort, we offer a selection of special pillows as a service in addition to the pillows that are already in your room: feather pillows - approx. 80/80 cm, neck pillows - approx. 40/80 cm, standard pillows - approx. 60/80 cm. Just let our reception team know which pillow we can bring to your room. If you like it particularly cozy, we will gladly provide an additional blanket. For an undisturbed sleep, we can also provide a sleep mask and earplugs.

Play corner & billiard

Our play corner in the winter garden (on the first floor) offers our young and old guests plenty of opportunities for creative pastimes. Fancy a game of billiards? You can borrow billiard equipment free of charge at our reception. Out of consideration for other guests, we kindly ask that you return it by 10.00 p.m. at the latest.

Postal services

A selection of postcards can be purchased at the reception. Stamps are available as well. We provide a pick up service for outgoing mail from Monday to Friday in the morning hours. Should you receive a message or post, we will hold it for you at the reception.

You can receive radio programs via your television.

Reception

Our reception team is in charge for you around the clock. You can reach them by phone: -70. 

Repairs

Even though we put a lot of love into our hotel, we are unfortunately not always completely free of faults. If you notice that a reparation is necessary in your room, we kindly ask you to report the damage to our reception. At this point we apologize for any inconveniences caused. 

Restaurant

We serve breakfast and dinner daily in our restaurant "Theodor Storm". Located in the adjacent Vitalpark, the bistro "Leineaue" serves hearty snacks as well as delicious cakes and tarts. You can click culinary for further information.

Room bill

You can pay your room bill at the end of your stay or at any time during your stay. We kindly ask you to pay your bill by the time of your departure at the latest.

Room cleaning

Your well-being is important to us, as is caring for our enviroment. Therefore, we will now clean your room every two days during your stay. Daily cleaning is available upon request at any time. If you require additional towels or other amenities, our housekeeping is available from 09.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. at extension -7933. Further information can be found in your room.

Room keycard

We kindly ask you to hand in your room keycard on the day of departure upon payment. In case of loss or breakage 
we charge 15,- EUR per keycard. We will gladly provide additional keycards at the reception.

Safe

All rooms are equipped with a numeric code safe. We accept no liability for valuables left in the room. However, you are welcome to use the hotel safe at reception free of charge. 

Sauna

The sauna area is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and can be reached via the bathrobe corridor (2nd floor). Access is included in the price of your overnight stay. The sauna world is open daily from 10.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. and on public holidays from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. An overview of the saunas and further information can be found here: sauna area

Shoe polish machine

The shoe polish machine is on the 2nd floor behind the elevator. A shoe polish glove can be found in the rooms.

Shopping facilities

The following shopping facilities are available in Heilbad Heiligenstadt: Edeka in der Grünewaldstraße (700 m), Wilhelmstraße with a wide range of fashion as well as decorative and gift articles (1,5 km). Our reception team can help you and give advice for more shopping options.

Swimming area

The pool area is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and can be accessed via the bathrobe corridor (2nd floor). Access is included in the price of your overnight stay. The bathing world is open from 08.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. and on public holidays from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. The sports pool is available daily from 10.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. An overview of the pools and further information can be found here: swimming area

Telephone

For an outgoing phone call, please dial „0“ before the telephone number. If you want to reach another guest in the hotel, press the „7“ and the corresponding room number. Internal calls are free of charge. For external calls, we will charge to your hotel invoice 0,30 EUR per unit. From outside you will be reachable at your telephone number: +49 (0) 3606/6637-0 + your room number.

Television program

An overview of all available TV channels can be obtained at the reception.

Toiletries

If you have forgotten any toiletries, such as shampoo, toothbrush, or toothpaste, you can obtain them free of charge at the reception desk.

Towels

We will change your towels as part of the room cleaning service. A wellness bag with towels is available in your hotel room upon arrival. Please return it to your room after your visit to the sauna and pool area. If you require additional towels, please feel free to contact our housekeeping between 09.00 a.m. and 06.00 p.m. at extension -7933.

Train station

The train station of Heilbad Heiligenstadt is located in 2 km distance from the hotel. You can get there by taxi or by city bus. For further information, please ask our reception.

Umbrella

At our reception you can borrow an umbrella free of charge or purchase one for a fee.

Wake-up call

Please inform us of the desired time for your personal wake-up call the evening before.

Wellness bag

Your wellness bag with a bathrobe, slippers and sauna towels will be waiting for you in your room upon arrival. Please leave the wellness bag at the end of your stay in your room and use the rental bag from the reception for your of the swimming and sauna area. In case of loss we will charge 75,- EUR. If you like, you can purchase the bag for a fee of 25,- EUR at our reception.

Wifi

All our rooms and public areas are equipped with Wi-Fi. You can use this service free of charge.
