Accessibility

Our hotel fulfills all requirements of the certification system "Reisen für Alle". In addition to our special wheelchair-suitable rooms all area provide comfort  and accessibility. To get to the swimming and sauna area, please use the elevator in front of the wellness & therapy reception. At our hotel reception you receive a coin for access to the bathing area. A mobile pool lift is availbale  within the bathing area, allowing you to easily acces all pools.

Adapters & charging cables

A variety of adapters & charging cables is available at the reception.

Air conditioning

All our rooms are equipped with modern ventilation systems which include individually adjustable temperature features. With the upper rotary knob you can switch the ventilation system on/off and adjust the ventilation. With the lower knob you adjust the temperature. If you set the controller on „-“, the temperature will be cooled down about 2 degrees. If the controller is set on „+“ the temperature will rise about 2 degrees. The middle equals the centrally controlled temperature in the whole hotel complex (approx. 20°C). Please notice that the heating and the air condition is turned off when the windows are opened.

Allergies & food incompatibility

Please let us know, if you have any food incompatibility or an allergy. As far as it is possible, we try to fulfil your wishes and requirements.

Baby equipment

We are happy to provide you with a baby cot and bed linen free of charge, subject to availability. On request, you can also receive a changing mat, a step stool and a high chair at our reception.

Banks

In Heilbad Heiligenstadt you can find various ATMs: Volksbank (Wilhelmstraße 107), Sparkasse (Petristraße 68a), Postbank (Petristraße 20-24), Commerzbank (Holzweg 3).

Bathrobe & bath slippers

The bathrobes & bath slippers are available in your room upon arrival. Please leave the bathrobe after your stay in your room. In case of loss of the bathrobe we will charge 50,- EUR. Please notice that the slippers are not suitable for wet areas. The usage is on own risk.

Blinds

All rooms are equipped with electric awnings. You can find the switch behind the curtain in your room.

Bistro "Leineaue"

The "Bistro Leineaue“ is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and welcomes you with savory snacks, delicious cakes and pies daily from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.. In summer, you can enjoy a refreshing iced coffee and ice cream sundae on the sun terrace.

Bikes

You are welcome to bring your own bike and store it safely and protected from the weather in our bike storage room. Please note that the space is limited and reservations are not possible. Charging facilities for your e-bike are available. We will provide you the key to the bike storage room at the reception.

Breakfast

Our extensive breakfast buffet is served daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the "Theodor Storm" restaurant. If you are leaving before the regular breakfast hours, we will be happy to prepare a packed lunch for you to take with you on request. Would you prefer to enjoy your breakfast in your room? Then please fill out the breakfast flyer and leave your order at the reception desk by 10:00 p.m. You can obtain the flyer at the reception desk.

Business service

At our reception we offer you the possibility to take photocopies, faxes or scannings.

Bus connection | city bus

The next bus stop is right in front of the hotel. With your guest card you can use the city bus free of charge. On weekdays the bus runs hourly from 06.34 a.m. to 06.34 p.m. and on saturdays from 08.34 a.m. to 12.34 p.m. Our reception staff will be happy to provide you with a timetable.

Cancellation

Sometimes things turn out differently than you think and you have to cancel your booked holiday. In this case we grant you the following cancellation conditions:

• Arrangements up to five days before arrival: free of charge
• Best flexible day rate until 06.00 p.m. on the day of arrival: free of charge
• Early booking rate up to two days before arrival: free of charge, thereafter 100% of the booked travel price
• Savings rate: cannot be cancelled, 100% of the booked travel price

Car workshop

Our receptionists will inform you about the nearest car workshops in the city.

City tax

The town of Heilbad Heiligenstadt charges a city tax of 2,- EUR per night and person aged 15 and over for tourist overnight stays. This tax is not included in our room & arrangement prices and will be charged additionally. For business stays will not charge a city tax.

Check-In & Check-Out

Your room will be available to you from 03.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. You will find more information on arrival under the point: location & directions.

Your room will be available until 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you would like to enjoy our hotel even longer on the day of departure, we offer you the possibility of a late check-out. You can pay your hotel bill at reception the evening before or on the day of departure in cash, by EC card or by credit card.

Children´s prices

The children's prices are for accommodation in the parents' room per child/day incl. Vitalpark wellness package. For 2 children, a comfort room or suite has to be booked.

Conference

Even if you are not staying overnight with us, you can be our guest: For conferences, meetings and events several rooms are available. We are happy to help you with the planning. More informations you can find at: conference & meetings

Continuous Current

At your desk you find the power socket with continuous current. This socket is also working if you pull your room card out of the main switch next to the door. Please ask at our reception, if you need a second room card.

Dinner

The dinner is served daily from 05.30 p.m. - 09.30 p.m. in our restaurant "Theodor Storm". We are happy to take your evening table reservation at the reception desk. Even if you have only booked breakfast, we look forward to welcoming you for dinner (39 EUR/person per day).
Please notice: You can feel relaxed and dress casually at our hotel. There is no dress code for dinner. However, we would appreciate it if you wore closed shoes and appropriate casual evening wear.

Emergency service
You can reach the emergency service on weekends by phone: 116 117. On weekdays please ask at the reception for further advice. 

Hospital
The nearest hospital is located in Heilbad Heiligenstadt in Windische Gasse 112, phone number: +49 (0) 3606/760.

Pharmacies
In 2 km distance you can find the „Liethen Apotheke“ (Brüsseler Straße 10, Heilbad Heiligenstadt). Close to the hospital there is the „Amalien-Apotheke“ (Robert-Koch-Straße 36, Heilbad Heiligenstadt). On weekends please ask at the reception for on-call pharmacies.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in our house, but only allowed in the "Standard" category. We would therefore ask you to let us know in advance. We charge a fee of 25,- EUR/day per pet (excl. food). Out of consideration for other guests, dogs may not be taken into our gastronomic facilities or the wellness area. We also reserve the right to charge for any final cleaning that may be required.

Electric charging station

The public electric charging station is located in the car park directly in front of the hotel complex and is available for a fee.

Fire alarm

Our hotel is equipped with an early warning alarm system. At your room door as well as in the hallways you can find a plan of the escape routes. In case of a fire alarm the elevators cannot be used due to security.

Fitness centre

The training area is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and can be easily reached via the bathrobe corridor on the 2nd floor. In addition to equipment training, you also have the opportunity to take part in the weekly activity programme or book a personal training session. Flowers

For a special moment or just a small gift. Please deposite orders days before at the reception or after completing your reservation. On weekends it is not possible to order flowers.

Guest card

On your arrival you have received a guest card from us. With the help of this card, you can use the city bus as well as the cultural program of Heilbad Heiligenstadt. The tourist tax is charged daily for each person from 15 years of age. We will charge it separately for your stay.

Hotelbar

In the afternoon we offer you regional cakes at our hotel bar from 02.00 p.m. - 05.00 p.m. in the fireplace lounge and in the winter garden. To go with it, we serve you various selected coffee and tea specialties. With delicious digestifs, cocktails in all variations and much more you can start the evening in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. (SUN -THU: at 05.00 p.m.; FRI -SAT: at 04.00 p.m.)

Hotelbed

Our beds in the classic and comfort rooms as well as in the suites are equipped with an ergonomically adjustable slatted frame. The superior and deluxe rooms are equipped with comfortable box-spring beds.

Hot-Water Bottle

If you feel cold or suffer from stomach pains, please contact our reception and we will to bring you a hot-water bottle to your room.

I

Internet-Counter

On the 2nd floor you can find the computer workplace. If needed, we can also print out copies at the reception. 

Ironing

You can get an ironing board and an iron on request.

Lost property

If you found external property or if you lost something, please contact our reception. The hotel does not take responsibility for untraceable subjects. Food will be disposed immediately because of hygienic reasons.

Luggage service

We are happy to offer you a luggage service, which you can request at our reception. Our arriving and departing guests have the possibility to leave their luggage at the reception. 

Lunch Package

If you are planning a tour, we would be happy to provide you a customised lunch paket (for a fee). Please place your order at our reception at least one hour in advance.

Mini-Bar

All our rooms have a minibar with a cooling option. The categories "Deluxe" and our Suites are equipped with a small selection of sweets and drinks, you can use these free of charge.

Newspaper & magazines

At our reception you will find a small selection of daily newspapers and magazines for sale.

Non-Smoking rooms

All our rooms are non smoking rooms. When breached, we will charge 200,- EUR for the final cleaning. Our restaurant and the public areas are smoke-free as well.

P

Parking

If you arrive by car, you will find ample parking directly in front of our hotel for a fee (7,- EUR per day). We ask for your understanding that it is in the interest of all guests if you park only within the markings, so that the adjacent parking space can be approached without problems. The usage of the car park is at your own risk, we do not accept any liability for possible damages.

Pillows

For optimum sleeping comfort, we offer you a selection of special pillows as a service in addition to the pillows  that are already in your room: feather pillow - approx. 80/80 cm, neck pillow - approx. 40/80 cm, standard pillow - approx. 60/80. Just let our reception team know which pillow we can bring to your room. If you like it particularly cozy, we will gladly provide an additional blanket. For an undisturbed sleep, we can also provide a sleep mask and earplugs.

Payment

You can pay your invoice in cash, with EC card or credit card (American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Maestro or Visa).

Play area & billiard

Our play area in the winter garden (on the first floor) offers our young and old guests plenty of opportunities for creative pastimes. Fancy a game of billiards? You are welcome to borrow our billiard equipment free of charge from our reception. Out of consideration for other guests, we ask that you return the equipment by 10:00 PM at the latest.

Postal services

A selection of postcards can be purchased at the reception. Stamps are available as well. We provide a pick up service for outgoing mail from Monday to Friday in the morning hours. Should you receive a message or post, we will hold it for you at reception.

You can receive radio stations via your television.

Our reception team is in charge for you around the clock. You can reach them by phone: -70.

Repairs

Even though we put a lot of love into our hotel, we are unfortunately not always completely free of faults. If you notice that a reparation is necessary in your room, we kindly ask you to report the damage to our reception. At this point we apologize for any inconveniences caused. 

Restaurant

We serve breakfast and dinner daily in our restaurant "Theodor Storm". The "Bistro Leineaue" - located in the adjacent Vitalpark - serves hearty snacks and delicious cakes and tarts daily from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. You can click culinary for further information.

Room bill

You can pay your room bill at the end of your stay or at any time during your stay. We kindly ask you to pay your bill by the time of your departure at the latest. Express check-out is possible upon request.

Room cleaning

Every day from 09.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. our rooms are cleaned by our housekeeping. We are happy to change your towels daily on request. Bed linen will be changed every 3 days or daily if required, depending on the length of your stay. Please let our cleaning team know. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang the designated "red card" on your room door. If your room should still be cleaned on this day, we kindly ask you to inform our reception by 02.00 p.m. at the latest. If, in the interests of our environment, you would like to do without room cleaning on one day of your stay, please also hang the "red card" on your room door.

Room key

We kindly ask you to hand in your room key on the day of departure upon payment. In case of loss or breakage 
we charge 15,- EUR per key. We will gladly provide additional keys at the reception.

Safe

All rooms are equipped with a numeric code safe. If needed, there is also the possibility to deposit valuable items in the central safe at our reception. 

Sanitary products

If you have forgotten certain sanitary products (e.g. shampoo, tooth brush or tooth paste), you can get them free of charge at our reception.

Sauna

The sauna is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and can be reached via the bathrobe corridor (2nd floor). Access is included in the price of your overnight stay. The sauna world is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m. and on public holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. An overview of the sauna and further information can be found here: sauna area

Shoe polish machine

The shoe polish machine is on the 2nd floor behind the elevator. A shoe polish glove can be found in the rooms.

Shopping facilities

The following shopping facilities are available in Heilbad Heiligenstadt: Edeka in der Grünewaldstraße (700m), Wilhelmstraße with a wide range of fashion as well as decorative and gift articles (1,5 km). Our reception team can help you and give advice for more shopping options.

Swimming area

The pool area is located in the adjacent Vitalpark and can be accessed via the bathrobe corridor (2nd floor). Access is included in the price of your overnight stay. The bathing world is open daily from 08.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. and on public holidays from 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m. The sports pool is available daily from 10.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. An overview of the pools and further information can be found here: swimming area

Telephone

For an outgoing phone call, please select „0“. If you want to reach another guest in the hotel, press the „7“ and the corresponding room number. Internal calls are free of charge. For external calls, we will charge to your hotel invoice 0.30 EUR per unit. From outside you will be reachable at your telephone number: +49 (0) 3606/6637-0 + your room number.

Television programmes

You will find an overview of all available television programmes in your wardrobe.

Towels

The environment is very important to us. For this reason, we would like to ask you to hang your towels, which you want to use again, on the coat hooks. If we find your bath towel on the floor, we will gladly exchange it for you. 

Train station

The central train station of Heilbad Heiligenstadt is located in 2 km distance from the hotel. You can get there by taxi or by city bus. For further information, please ask our reception.

Umbrella

At our reception you can borrow an umbrella free of charge or purchase one for a fee.

W

Wake up call

Please inform us of the desired time for the personal wake-up service the evening before.

Wellness bag

Your wellness bag with a bathrobe, slippers and sauna towels will be waiting for you in your room on arrival. Please leave the wellness bag at the end of your stay in your room. In case of loss we will charge 75,- EUR. If you like, you can purchase the bag at our reception. 

Wellness treatments

We recommend you to make an appointment in advance so that we can take into account your wishes regarding treatment, time and therapist. Please let us know in good time if you are unable to keep your appointment. Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
